Charles A. George

Charles George is the CEO and Chief Legal Counsel of MSI Limited. He has more than seventeen (17) years of experience representing clients searching for private equity funding to venture capital organizations and has successfully formulated, negotiated, and implemented strategies and funding contracts to provide for venture capital, growth capital, recapitalization funding, and mergers and acquisitions funding. He has developed successful strategies for business recapitalization, business turn-arounds, exit strategies, succession plans, and troubled investment resolution.

Charles has more than twenty two (22) years of global experience in product development, international finance, manufacturing, and global import/export operations and focuses on providing clients with creative and practical solutions, working with outside experts to provide practical and efficient solutions for his clients. Charles is an international business consultant and practitioner of international – corporate – intellectual property – admiralty law – aviation law. He specializes in manufacturing, food products, business to business services, and companies developing military – maritime technology; developing their financial and business strategies and assisting them to grow and develop cutting edge technology. In addition, Charles and the MSI team also manage intellectual property development and securitization, and corporate turn-arounds.

For institutional clients, he and the MSI team develop and execute crisis management strategies, perform fraud investigations and asset recovery, and perform due diligence on investment opportunities. Charles and his team also advise fund managers and investors on exit strategies and troubled investment resolution.

In his spare time Charles is also a journalist – deep-sea explorer and serves as corporate counsel for Wreck Diving Magazine the Shipwreck Exploration Society where he plans, manages, and participates in expeditions for wreck discovery and recovery. He is a USCG Licensed Master Merchant Mariner, professional diver, Master Scuba Diving Trainer and Technical Diving Instructor, and is involved with ongoing shipwreck exploration and professional underwater archeological efforts discovering real treasure, historical artifacts, and developing new technology for underwater archeology and industrial uses, and producing television programs for various networks internationally – and film content for Wreck Diving Magazine.

Charles is fluent in English and German and is conversational in Spanish. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Accounting from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC and Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from the Charleston School of Law in Charleston South Carolina and a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Admiralty Law from the Charleston School of Law. He is a civil mediator and is also a member of the Sir Francis Drake Admiralty American Inn of Court.

Charles is admitted to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida and is admitted to practice in the Federal Court system  in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the United States District Court of South Carolina and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Charles is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bar, the Florida Bar, the Charleston County Bar, and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Sir Francis Drake Admiralty American Inn of Court.

For Start-up Companies, Mike develops and implements successful hiring strategies for top executives and sets up Human Resource Departments with sophisticated talent acquisition processes to ensure selection of qualified employees. Mike’s expertise has helped deliver best in class talent not only for start-up companies, but Fortune 500 Companies as well.

Mike’s specialties include: Information Technology, Application Development, Engineering, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition. Douglas Chrisey

Douglas B. Chrisey is the science and engineering officer at MSI Limited. Doug currently is a Physics Professor at Tulane University where he has been honored with the endowed Jung Chair of Materials Engineering. Doug began his stellar engineering and academic career when he earned a B.S. in Physics from the State University of New York At Binghamton in 1983 and later a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from the University of Virginia in 1987. He spent the next 17 years at the Naval Research Laboratory as the Head of the Laser Processing Section. After spending 1 year as the Deputy Director at the North Dakota State University Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Doug joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as a Professor of Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering. Currently, Doug is teaching and performing research at Tulane University and is the Jung Chair of Materials Engineering in the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics with Adjunct appointments in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Tulane and at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Material Science Department.

Doug is well known to the world of science with more than 400 citable publications and over 8,000 citations and an h-index value of 48.  He has edited or co-edited 15 books and has 18 patents.  He also serves as a Scientific Advisor to Nanotherapeutics, the Chief Technology Officer for Nano Solutions and is President of Omni-Metrics.

Doug’s research interests are wide ranging and include the novel laser fabrication of thin films and coatings of advanced materials for electronics, sensors, biomaterials, and for energy storage.  Doug is world renown and is considered one of the pioneers in the field of Pulsed Laser Deposition and was the lead inventor of MAPLE processing technique (matrix assisted pulsed laser evaporation).  He is currently publishing in areas of metallic nanoparticle fabrication, biosensing, bionanotechnology, tissue engineering, stem cell processing, ceramics, and polyamorphism
