2013 TAG Business Launch Finals Competition

Join Technology Association of Georgia as we host our 8th Annual Business Launch Competition Finals.

We started our competition with 70 companies presenting their business plans and executive summaries to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs, investors and attorneys. From those 70, our judging panels have whittled down these companies to the TOP 4 who will present, American Idol Style, to an all star panel of Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, and successful entrepreneurs on May 9, at TSRB.

Once each company has presented, they will take part in a Q&A session, on stage in front of our live audience, for the judges to ascertain which of these four companies has the best business model and is best poised for success. While each of the companies will get a share of a Suite of Services package valued at over $450,000, the winner will win $50,000 in cash! In the audience will be investors, entrepreneurs, company executives, business development professionals, students and more.

NEW FOR 2013: We will bring back many of our former winners of the TAG Business Launch Competition to discuss their success since the event, and how our competition has helped promote and aide in the success of their company.

The Technology Association of Georgia aims to support the creation and growth of new companies that will strengthen and expand Georgia's strategic high-tech clusters. This is an event designed to help a local start up technology-based company launch its business. The contest finalists will receive over $450,000 in cash and prizes. This is TAG’s way to reward high-tech entrepreneurship and assure a deserving Georgia start up company has everything in place to be successful.

The TAG Business Launch 2013 invited entries in the area of Internet Technologies. This includes software and hardware companies that are developing products, online services, or backend technologies, which extend the reach, flexibility and ease of the internet.
